Formula
Apex to Destiny 2 formula
Destiny 2 sens = Apex sens × 3.333333Apex Legends turns 0.022° per mouse count at sensitivity 1; Destiny 2 turns 0.0066°. The ratio of the two, 0.022 ÷ 0.0066, is the multiplier. It holds at any DPI as long as you use the same DPI in both games.
Apex: Apex scopes use per-optic ADS multipliers on top of this value; this converts hipfire.
Destiny 2: Destiny 2 only accepts whole numbers in the menu.

Converting from
Sensitivity in Apex Legends
Apex Legends runs on a heavily modified Source engine and shares CS2’s 0.022° yaw, so the same number turns the same distance in both. The FOV slider does not change hipfire turn speed, but ADS speed follows each optic’s zoom and can be tuned per optic once hipfire is set.
- Where to set it
- Settings → Mouse/Keyboard → Mouse Sensitivity
- Common range
- 0.9–2 at 800 DPI (26–58 cm/360°)
Converting to
Sensitivity in Destiny 2
Destiny 2 shares the 0.0066° yaw of Overwatch 2 and Call of Duty, so a value from either game carries over unchanged once rounded. ADS speed is scaled by a separate ADS sensitivity modifier, and the FOV slider does not change hipfire turn speed.
- Where to set it
- Settings → Controls → Mouse → Look Sensitivity
- Common range
- 5–10 at 800 DPI (17–35 cm/360°)

Where Apex players land in Destiny 2
Competitive Apex players mostly use 0.9–2 at 800 DPI, which converts to Destiny 2 3–7. Destiny 2 players typically sit at 5–10, so most Apex players land on the slow side in Destiny 2. Plenty keep it that way: your muscle memory matters more than matching everyone else.
FAQ
Apex to Destiny 2 sens questions
How do I convert Apex sens to Destiny 2?
To keep the same feel, multiply your Apex sens by 3.3333. At the same DPI, Apex 1.5 equals Destiny 2 5. If you play Destiny 2 at a different DPI, enter both DPIs in the converter above and it compensates.
What is Apex 1.5 in Destiny 2?
Apex 1.5 at 800 DPI is Destiny 2 5 at 800 DPI (exactly 5). Both need 34.6 cm of mouse movement for a full 360° turn.
Is Apex sensitivity the same as Destiny 2?
No. Apex turns 0.022° per mouse count at sensitivity 1 and Destiny 2 turns 0.0066°, so the same number in Destiny 2 is 3.33× slower. That is why you need to convert.
Where do I change sensitivity in Destiny 2?
Settings → Controls → Mouse → Look Sensitivity. Destiny 2 only accepts whole numbers in the menu.
Why does Destiny 2 feel different at the converted sens?
The converted value matches your 360° distance exactly, but Apex and Destiny 2 use different fields of view and camera setups, so targets can appear to move at a different speed on screen. Make sure mouse acceleration is off in both games and in Windows, then give it a few sessions before tweaking.
