Converting from
Sensitivity in Call of Duty
Also applies to Warzone, Black Ops 7, Black Ops 6, MW3
Modern Call of Duty uses the same 0.0066° yaw as Overwatch 2 and Destiny 2 for hipfire. ADS speed depends on the ADS multiplier, Monitor Distance Coefficient and whether ADS field of view is Affected or Independent, so leave those at default until hipfire feels right.
- Where to set it
- Settings → Controller/Mouse → Mouse → Mouse Sensitivity
- Common range
- 4–8 at 800 DPI (22–43 cm/360°)
Converting to
Sensitivity in Rainbow Six Siege
Also applies to Siege X
Rainbow Six Siege splits sensitivity into separate horizontal and vertical sliders; keep both equal so vertical aim matches. ADS speed is set per zoom level, and the FOV slider does not change hipfire turn speed.

- Common range
- 5–10 at 800 DPI (20–40 cm/360°)

FAQ
CoD to R6 Siege sens questions
How do I convert CoD sens to R6 Siege?
To keep the same feel, multiply your CoD sens by 1.1519. At the same DPI, CoD 6 equals R6 Siege 7. If you play R6 Siege at a different DPI, enter both DPIs in the converter above and it compensates.
What is CoD 6 in R6 Siege?
CoD 6 at 800 DPI is R6 Siege 7 at 800 DPI (exactly 6.9115). Both need 28.9 cm of mouse movement for a full 360° turn.
Is CoD sensitivity the same as R6 Siege?
No. CoD turns 0.0066° per mouse count at sensitivity 1 and R6 Siege turns 0.00573°, so the same number in R6 Siege is 1.15× slower. That is why you need to convert.
Where do I change sensitivity in Rainbow Six Siege?
Options → Controls → Mouse → Mouse Sensitivity Horizontal / Vertical. Assumes the default MouseSensitivityMultiplierUnit of 0.02 in GameSettings.ini. Siege only accepts whole numbers.
Why does R6 Siege feel different at the converted sens?
The converted value matches your 360° distance exactly, but CoD and R6 Siege use different fields of view and camera setups, so targets can appear to move at a different speed on screen. Make sure mouse acceleration is off in both games and in Windows, then give it a few sessions before tweaking.
