Formula
Deadlock to CoD formula
CoD sens = Deadlock sens × 6.666667Deadlock turns 0.044° per mouse count at sensitivity 1; Call of Duty turns 0.0066°. The ratio of the two, 0.044 ÷ 0.0066, is the multiplier. It holds at any DPI as long as you use the same DPI in both games.
CoD: Leave ADS sensitivity multiplier at 1.00 with the Relative transition to keep ADS consistent with hipfire.

Converting from
Sensitivity in Deadlock
Deadlock is Valve’s Source 2 hero shooter with an over-the-shoulder camera. Its 0.044° yaw is exactly double CS2’s, so the quick manual conversion is to halve your CS2 value. The competitive scene is still young, so its common range mostly reflects CS2 players who moved over.
- Where to set it
- Settings → Mouse → Sensitivity
- Common range
- 0.5–1 at 800 DPI (26–52 cm/360°)
Converting to
Sensitivity in Call of Duty
Also applies to Warzone, Black Ops 7, Black Ops 6, MW3
Modern Call of Duty uses the same 0.0066° yaw as Overwatch 2 and Destiny 2 for hipfire. ADS speed depends on the ADS multiplier, Monitor Distance Coefficient and whether ADS field of view is Affected or Independent, so leave those at default until hipfire feels right.
- Where to set it
- Settings → Controller/Mouse → Mouse → Mouse Sensitivity
- Common range
- 4–8 at 800 DPI (22–43 cm/360°)

Where Deadlock players land in CoD
Competitive Deadlock players mostly use 0.5–1 at 800 DPI, which converts to CoD 3.33–6.67. CoD players typically sit at 4–8, so a typical Deadlock sens lands inside the usual CoD range once converted.
FAQ
Deadlock to CoD sens questions
How do I convert Deadlock sens to CoD?
To keep the same feel, multiply your Deadlock sens by 6.6667. At the same DPI, Deadlock 0.75 equals CoD 5. If you play CoD at a different DPI, enter both DPIs in the converter above and it compensates.
What is Deadlock 0.75 in CoD?
Deadlock 0.75 at 800 DPI is CoD 5 at 800 DPI (exactly 5). Both need 34.6 cm of mouse movement for a full 360° turn.
Is Deadlock sensitivity the same as CoD?
No. Deadlock turns 0.044° per mouse count at sensitivity 1 and CoD turns 0.0066°, so the same number in CoD is 6.67× slower. That is why you need to convert.
Where do I change sensitivity in Call of Duty?
Settings → Controller/Mouse → Mouse → Mouse Sensitivity. Leave ADS sensitivity multiplier at 1.00 with the Relative transition to keep ADS consistent with hipfire.
Why does CoD feel different at the converted sens?
The converted value matches your 360° distance exactly, but Deadlock and CoD use different fields of view and camera setups, so targets can appear to move at a different speed on screen. Make sure mouse acceleration is off in both games and in Windows, then give it a few sessions before tweaking.
