Formula
Deadlock to TF2 formula
TF2 sens = Deadlock sens × 2Deadlock turns 0.044° per mouse count at sensitivity 1; Team Fortress 2 turns 0.022°. The ratio of the two, 0.044 ÷ 0.022, is the multiplier. It holds at any DPI as long as you use the same DPI in both games.

Converting from
Sensitivity in Deadlock
Deadlock is Valve’s Source 2 hero shooter with an over-the-shoulder camera. Its 0.044° yaw is exactly double CS2’s, so the quick manual conversion is to halve your CS2 value. The competitive scene is still young, so its common range mostly reflects CS2 players who moved over.

- Common range
- 0.5–1 at 800 DPI (26–52 cm/360°)
Converting to
Sensitivity in Team Fortress 2
Team Fortress 2 runs on the original Source engine with the classic 0.022° yaw shared by CS2 and Apex. Set m_rawinput 1 to bypass Windows pointer settings; fov_desired (up to 90) changes how fast things look on screen but not your 360° distance.

Where Deadlock players land in TF2

FAQ
Deadlock to TF2 sens questions
How do I convert Deadlock sens to TF2?
To keep the same feel, multiply your Deadlock sens by 2. At the same DPI, Deadlock 0.75 equals TF2 1.5. If you play TF2 at a different DPI, enter both DPIs in the converter above and it compensates.
What is Deadlock 0.75 in TF2?
Deadlock 0.75 at 800 DPI is TF2 1.5 at 800 DPI (exactly 1.5). Both need 34.6 cm of mouse movement for a full 360° turn.
Is Deadlock sensitivity the same as TF2?
No. Deadlock turns 0.044° per mouse count at sensitivity 1 and TF2 turns 0.022°, so the same number in TF2 is 2× slower. That is why you need to convert.
Where do I change sensitivity in Team Fortress 2?
Options → Mouse → Mouse sensitivity, or sensitivity in the console.
Why does TF2 feel different at the converted sens?
The converted value matches your 360° distance exactly, but Deadlock and TF2 use different fields of view and camera setups, so targets can appear to move at a different speed on screen. Make sure mouse acceleration is off in both games and in Windows, then give it a few sessions before tweaking.
